How to edit shortcuts at start menu???

How I can edit start menu short cuts without any additional program?
I want that Office 2010 will be the same arrangement at start menu with the arrow and mouse overlay as on my other pc.
It should look like the “first steps” you can see in the following picture.
I think I forgot to mark the box at this installation.

So the path looks from “first steps”
%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\OobeFldr.dll,ShowWelcomeCenter LaunchedBy_StartMenuShortcut

Hello Fred,

This tutorial can show you how to add and remove shortcuts from the Start Menu.

Start Menu All Programs - Add or Delete Shortcuts

However, I think that you may be wanting to right click on your Office 2010 shortcut(s) (not folder) and use Pin to Start Menu to have it in the same location as your screenshot though.

If you wish to create custom Jump Lists (arrow menu as in your screenshot) for the Office 2010 pinned shortcuts, then this will help show you how to.

Jumplist Launcher - Create Custom Jump Lists

Hope this helps some,
Shawn

I know jump list, but not for my use.

I need a mouse overlay short cut, no open in new window link.

Please look at the pictures.

Unfortunately, those arrows (mouse overlay shortcut) are only available for programs that have a jump list available for them.

What you could do if you like is to enable Quick Launch, place the shortcuts you like in it, then leave Quick Launch unexpanded to have the arrow on top like below.

If that doesn't look like it will work for you, then you might try the free programs Start Menu 7 (non Pro version) or Classic Shell to see if that may be able to get you closer.
