Windows 7 Wont finish the installation

    Hey there.
Im having some trouble trying to reinstall windows 7.
i have runned windows 7 with the pc for a year, and i tried to reinstall windows 7 and run into trouble.
I began with booting from the cd/dvd driver with the windows 7 installation disk inside.
I choose the advence install option, format the 2 hard disk i have, and choose to install windows on one of those disks.
The install proccess goes on, until the last step, in which the installation restarts the pc, and then i get only a black screen, which doesn't get anywhere.
I dont get to the part where im choosing my pc name and all, its just black screen.
When im restarting myself manually, i get the option to run windows in safe mod, when i choose normal i still only get the black screen, when i choose safe mod, it say's something about finishing the windows 7 installation, and then a message that it cant be done in safe mod.
All this situation is weird, because i have already run windows 7 on that pc, and still im stuck right now.
    Would appreciate any help, thank

I had this happen to me, turned out the GPU was switching to my plasma TV after it hed done the initial setup through the CRT. I never turned the plasma over to the pc input ot check as didn't think anything would be on there as WinXP would always default to the CRT and I just presumed Win7 would as well.

If you have other monitors or TV's attached, hunt for the screen image there, if not I am sorry that I can not help.

Make sure you only have a VGA monitor plugged in to get the install completed.

If this doesn't help, enter Device Manager using the commands given at the end of this tutorial to uninstall any Device which show in error, which should complete install so that you can properly update the device: Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation

If you decide to start the install over, this time wipe the HD first of all code: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
