Yes. I got that far last night but what confused me was at the screen as where to load the OS there was no HD listed to load onto. Something about "load drivers" I think they are telling me that I need to load some sort of Hard Drive Drivers 1st cause it does not see any Hard Drive. Am I correct with that?

Is the HDD detected by/in the PC BIOS?

This is why the blue links are there for you to click on - so you can see the steps in pictures.

If you have questions about any specific steps, why don't you reply with them instead of surrendering before you ask a single question back?

If you are smart enough to find and sign up for the Forums we assume you are willing and able to follow illustrated steps, or ask as many questions as needed to do them.

In this thread, Dell is taking a possibly unwarranted hit because you don't want to follow simple steps.

    Great news.

Follow the steps given here to get a perfect install so you never have to go through this again since you can save a backup image of the finished install to reimage your HD in 20 minutes if ever needed: Reinstalling Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums

We are standing by if there are any further install problems. We never quit until it is on the HD and working right. Sounds like you don't either.

well I got the OS to load, but now I need to keep the disk in the drive or else it wont start. Keeps telling me "Floppy diskette seek failure Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. It also beeps twice before this screen. I went to the boot sequence by hitting F12... System setup and tried to change that to the onboard SATA Hard Drive but there is no number preceding it. I t looks like it does not see the HD. Sound like I am doing something wrong?

I did not register it yet with a product key

also windows update wont work. Error code 80072F8F

    Hello Buddy.

Don't enter the key yet and please post a snip of disk management for us to see.

       Note

In the Windows start menu right click computer and click manage, in the left pane of the "Computer Management" window that opens click disk management and post a maximized snip of that.
