    which version is what?

I have been scouting around for the best price for Windows 7 Pro and found two very similar products.Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders FQC-00765, and Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders FQC-04649. Both are OEM. I see that one has the SP1 update on it. If I purchase the one without SP1, will I be able to update SP1 at a later date?
Both are priced ~$140.00, with the SP1 one slightly higher. I'm pretty sure I answered my own question, but just wanted to get someone else to either confirm or deny this.
    Thanks!

Yes you will be able to update to SP1 if you buy the one without the SP1

You most definitely want the SP1 choice so you can run a Repair Install if necessary. Anything less is not the latest copy of Win7 and will cost much wasted time.

Seems to be a good price, but still I would only buy from a reputable retailer. We hear cases here every week of people being ripped off on Ebay which is becoming a fencing site for stolen Technet/MSDN keys.

It isn't worth the risk to buy from any less than a major retailer who unquestionably back what they sell.

Yes, you can install SP1 at a later date; but it's possible you might avoid difficulties by having SP 1 on the same disc. Not high likelihood, but there are some problems with SP 1 installation.

If it were say a $5 difference, I'd probably pay for it.

I would not purchase anything now that did not have SP 1 already integrated.

Thanks for all the input. I agree that I should only buy from a reputable vendor. The prices I was quoting were from Amazon and Newegg, so I'm pretty sure that they're not stolen goods. I also see the point of having the SP1 already on the disc when doing the install. Thanks to all of you for your advice.

NewEgg is good egg. With Amazon I'd ask their Customer Service if they are going to back it if a third party seller.
