build 7100 installation error

hello alll

after installing windows 7 rc on my laptop i decided to try and install it on my desktop pc running windows vista home premium 32-bit

when installing it on one user account i get the error message "D:\Sources\Input.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for suuport."

then i pess "ok" and another errore message comes up:

"Windows could not load required file WinSetup.dll. The file may be corrupt to install windows, restart the installation. Error code: 0xC1

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

[EDIT]

Wheni try to install it on a different user account i receive anither error message
"Windows was unable to create a required installation folder. error code: 0x80070017"

It looks to me like your trying to upgrade which (funnily enough) uses more files from the DVD. You may need to re-burn the DVD at 4x speed or slower. It should not matter what user you are logged onto but you could try running the setup.exe as admin and see if that helps.
