    Need help installing Windows 7

    Okay so i got rid of my Dinosaur Micron XKE Transport and picked up a Dell Inspiron 4000, which is probley a newer dino but i recently did a new install of Windows XP Pro. I would like to do a Windows 7 install. So i bought the os and tried to install it. The computer window popped up saying "Windows detected that this computer has 160 MB of RAM, but 512 MB is required for installation. Installation cannot proceed." Can i upgrade this computer to run Windows 7? Anything i can download, or do? Deleting things? or is this computer a lost cause too??

    I did do the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and 6 issues came up.

    System
    -Windows Aero Support
    -CPU Speed:910 MHz
    -256 MB of RAM
    -16 GB free hard disk space required

    Devices
    -Belkin Wireless G Notebook Card
    -Intel 8244x-based PCI Ethernet Adapter (10/100)

    Help?

    Thanks
    -Chris

    Windows 7 wont run on that machine as it is, and an upgrade to make it do so would probably be far more expensive and time consuming than it is worth.

    However, if you want to try it anyway, you can get the Windows 7 drivers here;
