    Boot problem

Hey guys I just found out about this forum thanks to google, anywho I have been having some trouble with my Windows 7 install so far, I downloaded built 7264 from a torrent website, (I can't download it from microsoft because the webpage won't load) I am trying a clean install and as I boot from CD all I have is the welcome screen and nothing else pops up, so basically all I see is a blue windows 7 screen with the windows 7 arrow, I am currently running a AMD Semprom processor, 1g RAM, and a on board VIA/S3G UniChrome IPG. Is there anything that I can do to fix any of these problem, or I can give up hope?

    Thanks for reading..

Welcome to Win7Forums Impuls3! That is an interesting problem your having. First off Win7 from Microsoft is the RC (7100) which is considered old by now but it is the last official build to the public...now for your only blue screen issue on 7 I would recommend first to reburn the DVD to make sure it wasn't a bad burn....if that doesn't work than I could PM you the links I used for 7264 and you could try a hash recheck to make sure you got a valid version of 7264

First, check that you have a good 7264 download. There are numerous fake/malicious/just plain bad 7264 ISOs floating around.

Also, you cannot download 7264 from MS because it is not offered by MS. It is a leak.

Well thank you, I already burned two different built 7264 copies at the lowest speed, I somehow got through the microsoft website and got myself a product key and a RC copy, I am downloading it as I type, I'll see what I get with this copy of Windows 7.

Edit: The 7264 built I had was a good one, I don't know what went wrong, I am burning to 7100 built now and we'll see what happens.
