    cnnot complete install

Hi, been trying this for 2 days with no result... Really hope I can get some help.

I installed Windows 7 on my machine using CD, HDD is blank (formatted). Once the system prepare to startup, it will go blank. When I go to safe mode, it says I cannot go to safe mode without complete installation of Windows 7.

I am not sure how to solve this.. I tried re-install XP on the machine, I can get everything back. Shall I run the setup of Windows 7 from Windows XP or how do I install Windows 7 from CD?

When I launch compmgmtlauncher, I can see my computer detected as ACPI x64-based PC, but I am trying to install 32-bit, shouldn't it shows x86?

    My PC configuration as below:
    GA-P43-U3DL
    Intel E8400
    PowerColour 4850 Gfx
    640GB HDD
    4GB Ram.
the compmgmt is probably just showing that your hware is 64 bit capable. Where did you get the win 7 image and did you burn the image to dvd or copy the files? Your cpu may be capable of 64 bit but the memory might not be. lets start form scratch.

disk is formatted right? and there is a volume label?

I think the problem you are facing is that when your Computer Reboots during the Windows 7 Installation, it boots into the partition that your Installer just installed on. Usually, there will be a key to boot from CD instead of Hard Disk. The key may be Fn or Option. This happened to me on my Macbook and I solved it simply by booting into CD. Find that key and try booting into CD directly.

    Good luck.
