Do you mean F11 is not working? Did you make the recovery disk set? If no, can you launch the recovery manager from inside windows to create recovery dvds?

The easiest thing you can try first is a startup repair. Reboot the computer and press F8 repeatedly at disk, then choose repair my computer and then Startup repair. You may need to repeat this a few times.

If that doesnt work download this recovery disk:

    http://neosmart.net/downloads/miscel...20Disc.torrent

(Its a torrent file so you need a torrent client like vuze to download the actual file).

Burn the iso to disk and boot from the disk. Run startup repair.

    Heres a tutorial.

It'll help if you provide more descriptive responses. If startup repair did not work, try running the bootrec commands from the repair disk.

From what I see on the web the HP g62 came with Windows 7 HP x64 pre-installed.
    Your spec's say Windows 7 Ultimate X32.

If you have upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate x86, the upgrade would have shut down the HP Recovery Partition.

Post up screenshots of the HP and Recovery folders - factory image file should be in there.

If you have access to a Win7 installer for any version, you can unlock all versions to clean reinstall with Product Key on COA certificate attached to machine, which is a much cleaner install without the factory bloatware which weighs down Win7: Reinstalling Windows 7
