Comuter won't turn on after shutting down for restart

I was installing Windows 7 ultimate x64 on my laptop. After shutting down for the restart the computer won't turn on any more. Any ideas why this happened?

Can you see the BIOS screen when it first boots up? In BIOS setup set SATA controller to AHCI to try install.

Try wiping the HD to reinstall as you may have infected code or corrupt boot sector: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

If this fails, try testing your RAM - Test with Memtest86+, then your HD using maker's diagnostic/repair extended CD scan: HD Diagnostic
