My bad, It is a hot swap on the front of the machine, it just slides in. It is a regular SATA port.
Thanks,

Finally it is detected After taking it in out three times, found it was not seated correctly...I guess the 4th time is a charm!
Now, I need to find out how to access the files on it.
THANKS ALOT!

Yeah, I use one of those docks too. You have to be very precise when you insert the disks. Especially 2.5" disks sometimes do not seat right. The 3.5" are easier. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |
