    Window

    Hi,

I had a windows 7 installed in my system in D drive. I created a new partition E and installed Windows xp in that. Now at boot it only gives the option to boot into xp. I installed Easy BCD and wrote the Windows 7 bootloader to the MBR as this link says. Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP

But its giving an error message while booting as follows. "windows boot configuration data file does not contain OS entry"

    What should i do?

    Regards
    RA

EasyBCD is best used in Windows 7, repair your Windows 7 install.
    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP

Use EasyBCD 2.0 in Win 7.
Download EasyBCD 2.0.2 - NeoSmart Technologies

    A bit more reading.
