HELP!! Win7 Startup Pwd not responding.

I bought it last night.... this must be a record on how to INSTANTLY make a NEW laptop inoperable.
I just bought a Lenova Z565 notebook ...as a part of initial set up I put in a start up pwd for Windows 7.
I have tried the original pwd and ever version I could think of but its not responding. So I essentially cannot get onto the computer at all.
When I tried to reset...of course I don't have a disk its asking for. It didn't come with one and I didn't know I needed to make one.
is there a way to reset or disable what is on there so I can get into the computer and change it.
Use lay terms please. I can follow directions - just keep it simple

I'm not sure if you can still do this, but once you restart, there is a function button to press (F12?) right away that will allow you to start up in safe mode. Then you log in and go into passwords and change it, but I am almost certain that in order to do that, you have to type in your old password. I am not sure if you can make a windows disk in safe mode

Bad idea to buy a computer without a disk, rarely do manufacturers not send one, and if a person sold it, than you should always ask for a disk. There are free password removal programs online you can fit on usb drives that you stick into the computer after it loads the welcome screen, but you would have to look for that yourself.

Likely you just forgot the original password you entered, because windows doesn't auto-change passwords. That or you entered it wrong

Does it just do nothing or is it giving you a "mismatched", name and password?

I don't think we should be helping you bypass a password as this laptop could be stolen.
Take the computer back with proof of purchase and they should help you.
Another option is to go to a computer repair shop again you will need proof of purchase.

Take it back to the store for replacement or a set of Recovery Disks.

Otherwise you'll need to find a Win7 installation DVD, follow these steps for Reinstalling Windows 7
