Yes, just booted into it and it has same features as my Acronis True Image Home 10: Cloning/Backup/Restore but without Universal Restore feature to startup on new hardware.

Yup, EasyBCD works on Server 2008, no problem. I had got the new partition booting correctly and up to the log on screen with no problems. But trying to log in caused loads of issues and nothing would load up once inside.

Trying Acronis now, although doing it as a backup/restore rather than a clone as the latter would erase the entire disc rather then allow me to put it on the second partition.

Cheers guys. Will let you know how I get on.

Excellent. Using Acronis everything went smoothly and it boots into Vista just fine. Cheers for that tip, most of my drives are Western Digital so this thing has been 100% useful.

Old drive that I'm retiring was an IBM/Hitachi Deskstar made in March 2004. Although it's quite probable I'll end up sticking some Linux distribution on it or something.

Can't see my Vista partition from Windows 7...
I know there's a way to enable this, and I don't "need" to be able to see it right this second. But if someone knows how, could you please post it here, or link me to a post/tutorial about it? Thank you.
