Windows 7: Upgrade dvd: vista to 7 in different language using custom install

17 May 2011   #21

Windows 7 professional 64bit

I just finished installing the English version of Windows 7 professional (upgrade media), upgrading my Dutch version of Windows vista business. I used the custom install option, formatting the drive.

Therefor, I can confirm that you can change your OS language using upgrade media, if you do a clean install using upgrade media.

Thanks to all .
