    Freeze on Windows 7 Installation


    hi..
    i have problem .....when i am installing windows 7
    so in Starting windows it will be freeze..
    i have Dell 360 Precision
    1Gb Ram
    128 MB (Pixel Shader 2.0) Video Card
    3.2 Ghz processor
    DVD ROM

    Did you run the upgrade adviser on your hardware ? More ram memory would be helpful

    Now i have Window XP
    I am installing Fresh windows 7 but Window is freezing in installign...
    i install window 7 in my system...
    for some problem i remove windows 7 and install xp
    then i want now windows 7

    Where did you get Win7?

    Did you burn the disk yourself? If so, confirm ISO integrity then burn using ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify. Make sure it says "bootable" in text at left when you load the ISO into ImgBUrn.

    Reset the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

    While in BIOS setup, set SATA controller to AHCI to try install. If it still fails, try IDE mode.

    Next try wiping the HD: DISKPART At PC Startup
    Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command

    Unplug all other HD's and external components. Use a PS2 keyboard and mouse.

    Did you download Windows 7 from the net ...

    ... and did you burn it to DVD yourself?

    From your computer specs listed. You may have mis-matched ram sticks to make up the 1gb listed.
