using a flash drive for clean windows 7 installation

i was just wondering how i extract the files from an installation disc onto a flash drive, so i can use the flash drive to perform a clean install.

Here's a much easier method: Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3 | USB Pen Drive Linux

Browse to Windows 7 installer, then load in the ISO.

Extract ISO from DVD using ImgBurn: ImgBurn - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET

The next easiest method is to install UltraISO trial version, on File tab Open Win7 DVD, on Bootable tab Write DIsk Image, Format, Write. This method extracts the ISO itself so you don't need two programs.
