dotNET installed on USB HDD?

Hi All,

This is more of an annoyance than a real problem, but your views would be appreciated.

I have a USB attached drive which I use primarily for long term data storage. When tidying up files on this the other day I noticed what appears to be a dotNET patch on the drive. It seems to have got there in February. Two questions.

1. Should it be there?
2. If not then how to get rid of it safely?

Just delete it. It's just the installer for that update.

Thanks ztrucker. I just tried that it says I need permission from "System" to modify the folder.

I managed to delete it via Puppy Linux booted from USB.

Looks like the entire folder could be deleted. The one that starts with 114fc....
