| | Unable to install. I am trying to install Windows 7 on my laptop. But I keep getting the following error: "Windows was unable to create a required installation folder. Error code: 0x80070017" Does someone perhaps know what this is ? Thanks!! |

| | ok, once uve formatted the HDD with the Windows 7 disc, select the Delete option, and see if that fixes it. |

| | OK guys, my apologies. I also just replaced my dvd drive on the laptop, and I think the driver wasn't right, so that's why I got the error when trying to do the installation via dvd. I made a bootable usb and now everything is going smooth! Thanks for your help Uber Philf. +1 |
