enable USB legacyYou asked me to disconnect the old drive which I did and am getting the error message from the new HDD on SATA 0. So I am getting the error message with or without XP HDD.Is this a known-good XP CD which has been used to install before? Check that it is perfectly clean.
Do you get the same NTLDR error when you try to boot either XP or Win7?

Try the flash stick method using Ultra ISO as given above.

I am about to download the other ISO program which will take time to learn and use to re-do the flash drive.
Clear the CMOS, which one do I do first, the CMOS or download and do the flash drive.
Please remember, I am DISABLED and have difficulty keeping-up with you both!
