| | Win 7 Freezes after loading files I just put this computer together (check out my specs) and put the OS DVD in to install. It goes through the motions of "loading files" and then when it says "starting windows" it gets just to the point where you can see all 4 colored orbs and it freezes. How do I fix this issue and install windows 64bit? |

| | Will the machine boot safe mode? It would help if you could at least look over the logs and figure out the source of the halt. Not to bash your hardware but I've personally had nothing but pain and suffering from biostar... |

| | how do I load it in safe mode? When it goes to boot options it says hit any key to load from disk. If I wait it tries to load from the HD but there's nothing on there |

| | Damn, I was hoping I'd find it was a solid state drive, that would have given me a clear step. Since it's an older IDE drive, are you using a older cable with it? A old cable that's been transferred from one machine to another can sometimes become problematic. Though that doesn't seem incredibly likely here. I'm kind of running low on ideals. |

| | yes, I am using an old cable? This is an old drive I wiped and salvaged because I figured It would be easy enough to put my os on the small one... I can try a different cable but they're all going to be old... |
