    Have I got 32 or 64 bit

Hi new to the forum after years on the VIsta one. Anyway decided to take the plunge. Install went fine using the 32 bit disk. Now for my question when I look at the system specs ie check amount of RAM and processor speed under System in the control panel it reports system type as 64 bit Operating System do I have 32 bit or 64 bit installed? Thanks

Hi Bogart and welcome to the forums! The easiest way to find out is to click on start, right click on "computer" and select properties ... Your system type will show if you are running a 32bit or 64bit OS..

    Bogart,
And here's another way to tell what version and still more with one key combo:

    WIN + PAUSE/BREAK key combo

WIN is the key with the Microsoft flag on top.
