Won't let me install Windows 7 x64 version even if I had a 64 bit CPU

I have a problem: I choose to install the x64 version... but when It is finally installed, it says I have windows 7 professional 32 bit OS... (and it recognizes only 2 of my 4GB of RAM)

My CPU is a Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 Ghz... what can I do?

I've tried with the Windows 7 Enterprise 90 days trial and it didn't work...

Sound like you didn't use the 64 bit installer, and Enterprise uses Volume Licensing not intended for consumer use.

A 64 bit installer downloaded from MS would not install to read 32 bit with 2gb RAM limit.

    I got it from here:
Windows 7 Enterprise | Trial, Evaluation, Test, Download

And I choose the following option:

    Download the 64-bit (x64) version

    I think I have a fauly processor...

I tried to run Linux 64 bits and it freezes... and If I run a 32 bit version, it's just fine
