Never heard of it. There's a Win7 retail installation DVD, a Win7 Repair CD, or Recovery Disks to recover factory-installed Win7.

Is it possible to reinstall windows 7 x64 over itself without losing the installed programs? I assume the data will be OK if no format is performed but will the installation find the installed programs like MS Office and keep them active or will I have to reinstall all my apps again? Thanks
