Try resetting the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

Next remove all but 2gb of RAM to try install.

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals. Use PS2 keyboard and mouse.

Try writing the installer to flash stick by extracting ISO with ImgBurn, write to flash stick using this tool with Windows 7 in dropdown menu: Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3 | USB Pen Drive Linux

Try plugging in your old Windows 7 HD, run Paragon Adaptive Restore CD on it to "Start Windows on New Hardware". PAR CD will autostart.

Follow the steps given earlier to autostart to wipe your HD with PW CD to force the installer to autostart.

If you can access the BIOS and change settings, that indicates to me that there is nothing wrong with the keyboard. There is something else going on. Is your DVD drive detected in the BIOS correctly? Have you got another DVD drive to try? If you can I would swap the data cable to that drive. Is the DVD drive SATA or IDE? Check your install media for scratches, smudges, fingerprints etc. If you have one of those optical drive cleaning DVDs I would use it.

My USB keyboard gets read after my first black screen

The DVD drive is fine i took it out of my mates PC after i fixed his pc for him. It gets picked up as a pioneer dvd etc etc so i know its there. The disc is clean and its connected through 2 sata cables 1 black and 1 multicoloured.

If your keyboard is able to get you into the BIOS setup screen its working OK. The BIOS is the very first thing to load. Booting from the DVD drive is a BIOS function and has nothing to do with any thing else. Do you get a "Press any Key to boot from CD" or similar message? Is the Windows 7 DVD an original disk or a copy? Is it an upgrade version or a full version?
