Intalled Nircmdc and Nircmd (Screen Issue)

Hello, thanks for letting me ask you for some help.
I just formatted my laptop. It is a MSI a6300 with a i3 cpu.
I wanted to created a screen shutoff shortcut so i installed both nircmd.exe and nircmdc.exe. The problem came up when I clicked the shortcut I made to shutoff the monitor. When the screen resumed I got this. Now everytime my computer come back from sleep I get this.

Sometimes those pixels cover the whole screen.
I cannot capture with screen print button in case that helps.
I am trying to avoid having to format my laptop again.
    Thanks

Hi! canibe, welcome to 7F :)

Did you follow How-To-Do-It here: Create a Shortcut or Hotkey to Turn Off the Monitor - How-To Geek

And, if you like the CMD line try this: GRC | WIZMO - Steve's Windows Gizmo

When posting a vid of youtube copy/paste only the sequence after the = sign

Your link: YouTube - ‪My PC Messing Up‬‏

So you would only copy/paste vlE6yHMgQvw after clicking on the youtube icon.

    Thus:

Sometimes there is added alphanumeric sequence added after, so you have to experiment.

no there are a few things i didn't follow.
I copied the exe to windows.
when making the shortcut I didn't put the directory or timer.
I just put nircmd.exe monitor shutdown or what ever the html that came with it said.
I couldn't see it messing up my display though.

Instructions/directions are there for a reason.

I would do a restore point and then retry it.

sounds like a plan. Thanks. I don;t think i am going to reinstall the nircmd. anything that can damage my system like that so easily doesn't sounds safe.
    Thanks again
