This does seem odd.... hmmm... do you use num lock or caps lock at all? Just brainstorming. I have no idea....

nope don"t use num lock or anything its just if i leave the computer on it ends up going back to the passwrded page saying password locked and wont let me put my password in so i have to manually switch off the pc then switch it back on everything fine then.

I had this problem with the RC

After I installed the RC my computer wouldn't go entirely asleep, it would start to and then "revive." It was my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse that were keeping it from sleeping.

The only last thing I can suggest is what Ken had mentioned, disabling the password on wake, although I don't have it set that way. Maybe a combo is disabling that and resetting your password again my trip something off to be back to normal.

Have you patched your system with anything weird, or used a weird build?

its in power options. Choose your power profile, then go to advanced settings. You will see it listed there. Let me know how it goes.
