Instaling Win 7 in a multi hdd format

OK, so I've seen this done before on XP and Vista but I don't know if you can do it on 7. What I am talking about is where the OS and drivers are located solely on 1 drive, and all the data and everything else is located on a 2nd drive, by default. I'm not talking about installing the OS and then relocating all your default folders and everything else to another drive. The OS core is located on C, then on D you have User Data and Program Files, etc. Any Help?

It isn't recommended to have programs separated as they write registry keys which integrate themselves into the OS itself. But it can be done: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...-installs.html

You can separate the User folders to another drive during install this way: User Profiles - Create and Move During Windows 7 Installation
