cannot open files in Sysprep folder

    ello,
I'm in the trenches trying to develop a Windows 7 image for work. This is what I've done so far:
I installed Win 7 64-bit on a test computer and did some customizations ( added programs, etc..). I then ran sysprep from C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep... and the process completed just fine. Okay, so I decided to do further customization of the sysprep process by creating an unattend.xml file using WAIK... Ran Sysprep again - not bad results - but I now notice when I attempt to open any log files ( Pather folder ) or "open" the unattend.xml file I get the following error message:
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\System32\sysprep\unattend.xml' Make sure you typed the name correctly and Try Again"
Yet the files are visible in Windows Explorer...
Can anybody tell me "what's what", here??????
    thank you,
    adrian

Are you able to copy the files to another drive or a network share and open them with a different computer?

Also have you tried opening notepad and then opening the files from with in notepad?

    First: thank you for responding!

I can move the contents of the sysprep folder to the desktop and the various .xml files open with Internet Explorer - no problem...
within the Sysprep folder in the System32 directory, I can open the files using notepad/word - but not with Internet Explorer or the XML editor...

    I just don't "get it"

I am having the same problem. Also when I try to run sysprep it gives me an error that the answer file is invalid.
