That is good news.
I'm experiencing the same prob, same model. May i know what ur friend did to his usb to make it work? Urgently need to know. Your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance
hello chris, i came back to this forum as fast as i could when i received your help message in my email. She did nothing to her Flashdisk. If you already followed the steps in my first post above (checking md5, etc), I guess it's time to use another flashdisk. Try using 4GB flashdisks (mine is 8GB and it doesn't work). After I bought another brand new flashdisk (4GB), I was actually able to install with ease. Also, don't plug it in the USB3.0 port. If windows won't boot from USB2.0 port, then you should try a new flashdisk
Else, you should try to check your RAM using memtest+ (read the earlier posts in this thread).
RAM? I did inserted another 4gb ram. Does this affect the installation? Using 4gb pendrive now. Will format n try again. Thanks for ur prompt reply. ^^
