I tried to install the 7600, i installed the img file to a disk and then teh installer loads up, it comes up with setup is copying tempory files and then setup is starting, i then get a error saying
Any ideas?
In the folders the files are all there, the disk is 2.34gb now i have burnt it.

When you installed the img file to disk, as you say, can you be more detailed? What type of image file is it? How did you burn it to disk?
I had something similar happen to me with the 7100 RC release of the 32bit W7 - I had to re-download it. Both DVDs I burned looked identical, but one worked and one did not.
It was all in a zip folder unzipped to a ISO file and i burned it with IMG burn on a speed of x2 onto a 4.7GB DVD-R disc.
I will probably redownload it if i can find some links
It could well be a problem with the download. I'd try downloading again (7600 16385 is the latest) and see what happens. And stick to the slower burn speed, although you should be able to up-it to 4x
