Hello mavci, welcome to Seven Forums!

As a start and to rule out format errors up front, boot the Windows 7 installer to diskpart and run the clean command, exit diskpart and see if the installer sees the HDD now, have a look through the links below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

       Information

It may be a help to over-write the HDD Master Boot Record (MBR) before you start any other procedure using the diskpart clean command, rather than the clean all; it takes just seconds to complete so you will have "unallocated" space to use either the Windows installer to create and format the partition(s) or use diskpart to do that, however you choose.

Reset the BIOS back to default.
    Download the Sata Controller drivers.

    Load drivers for Diskpart:
SATA Drivers - Load in Windows Recovery Options

    Load drivers in setup:
SATA Driver - Load in Windows 7 or Vista Setup

Does your netbook have a DVD drive or are you using a USB DVD drive?

If so, set it first to boot in BIOS setup, followed by HD.

    Will it boot now?

What are the other settings for your HD besides IDE? Try AHCI first if you have a SATA HD.

Next try writing the DVD ISO to flash stick to try install. Install UltraISO trial version, on File tab select Open DVD, on Bootable tab select Write Disk Image, Format, Write. Boot under USB or HD's in BIOS boot order or one-time BIOS Boot Menu.

Is it a USB DVD drive? If so can you boot any other bootable disks in it?

Is it set first to boot in BIOS setup, and is it booting correctly?
Follow these steps: How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD

Do you get the prompt to "Press any key to boot DVD?"

Will the HD drive show in BIOS?

Will the HD drive show in Diskpart?
