I was moving the default storage directories from c:\users\... to the root of D: when I fubared with the desktop one.
I pointed it at the root of D: instead of D:\Desktop\ and now I have everything in D:\root on my desktop.
Any idea on how I can remedy this?

Thanks for the help, will try that if I do it again, but I ended up having to re-install windows anyway due to a moment of stupidity on my part.
Had installed windows on a spare drive as I suspected my original one was failing and this spare was sat outside the case.
Everything went ok with the install and the system seemed stable, first time I shut it down I got the usuall 'applying x of xx updates do not turn off...'.
Left the computer for a while and went to watch tv, looked back and it appead to have shut down so I went and unplugged the drive, when the screen caome back on and it was still trying to update. The screen had powered off. Tried rebooting with the new drive back in but it wouldn't so had to start again.
Was more careful moving folder the next time.
