Need help deploying Windows 7 with usb drives

    Hi all!

The company that I work for has satellite sites in some remote locations where network access is simply to slow to deploy images through. We would therefor want to put a image of windows 7 with all the drivers, and some of the most common software used included, on a 16 GB USB drive.

So far I have been installing Windows 7 on a reference computer, with the drivers and software that I needed, and then syspreped it and used imagex to capture the image.

Is there a better way to do what I want? Maybe by using MDT?
The image must contain drivers for different Dell models (they seem to use most of the same drivers anyway).

Freeware to consider includes Win7 Backup Imaging, Macrium Reflect or Paragon 11 Backup. If you have WD or Seagate HD's in the mix, their excellent premium Acronis cloning/imaging program is free on their Downloads page.
Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup
    Macrium - Image your system
    Seagate Acronis cloning free util
    WD Acronis free cloning app

Add the extra Dell drivers to the System 32/Driverstore which is queried for all drivers.

SysPrep should work: SysPrep to move HD to another computer
