    Hide HP_TOOLS partition

    Hi
I have a Compaq HP 6730s with Windows 7 Professional x64. Since I keep my system up to date I decided to update all drivers and HP tools including HP System Diagnostic (UEFI). Technically, according to HP website, the setup needs to create a fat32 partition called HP_TOOLS that contains necessary files for running system tests(memory, video, hdd etc). However, the setup should prompt the user the to create the HP_TOOLS
partition on HDD or on an USB driver. Unfortunately, this didn't happen for me so the installer took 2 Gb from my 150 Gb(3.5Gb free) media partition (E) to create the new partition mounting it on H. Since I don't really want to delete it I tried to hide it using this: Drive - Hide or Unhide - Vista Forums
The problem is the Local Group Policy Editor has options only for C and D. I also tried using regedit but instead of hiding H partition I ended up without my D partition and F DVD-RW.
Is there any other way to hide a partition?

Have you tried removing the drive letter in Disk Mgmt? Works for System Reserved.

That worked. Don't know why I thought a boot diagnostic tool needs a drive letter
    Thanks.
