System Reserved - Changing partition type ID to 0x27

I was reading in the Technet library about the system reserved partition and how it should be set to partition type id 0x27. Would I be able to do this after windows installation?
I have extended the partition to 300mb instead of the usual 100mb. It is currently type 0x7 NTFS (Unmounted).
I have been using Minitool Partition Wizard to handle my partitions and I can set the ID type with that.
Would there be any benefit to changing it? And would it have any impact on the system if I did change it?
I'd be grateful of any advice. Thanks :)

    Haha, I take your point.
I do have a habit of tweaking things which probably shouldn't be tweaked. I'll leave it alone!

    Thanks for the advice/comment

NO problems with a hidden partition.

    Burdus,
I use DiskPart which is free and part of Windows 7.

However, I strongly agree with the advice from BareFoot--If it works, don't fix it.
