Windows 7: windows don't start

Hello friends, I'm facing a big problem. My laptop do not start..

when I switch on my laptop, it loads and prompt me to enter Password.and I enter password and hit the enter button. Then it's showing 'welcome' text and nothing happen after that.I'm using Windows seven x64.

I tried to repair Windows installation using my Windows DVD. But it says that the windows DVD that I used is a different version than my windows(something loke that). Of course I used the same DVD. then I tried to run "Startup repair" (provide in Windows installation wizard). It says that it can't solve startup isues..



What shold I do.. I can go for a new instaltio of windows. But sadly I loose everything I have.. I do not have any Backup or System restore.

You don't have startup issues, you have a windows loading issue.

Can you get in using Safe Mode

If so do this.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

The reason for the version problem is you've probably applied the service pack.
I hate how it does that to you but it does.

You can copy out your files: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

If you can get into Safe Mode with networking, install, update and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

If not Download, burn to CD or write to flash stick, boot, update and run a full scan with Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper

Then from DVD Repair console System Recovery Options try System Restore as far back as necessary.

Next from Command Prompt run SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot.

If Windows 7 still won't start try Startup Repair again, or boot free Partition Wizard bootable CD
make sure Sys Reserved boot partition or Windows 7 partition is marked Active, highlight HD, from Disk tab run Rebuild MBR.

If all fails copy out your files then run factory Recovery from its partition or disks you've made or order from manufacturer, or boot Installation DVD to Clean Reinstall Windows 7

thanks trying to help guys. I tried to start with safe mode but it also doens't work.. I'll try the other ways and lest you know soon.. thanks...

Yeah I had some issues.. I tried every possible way to get rid of those but nothing work and here I am..

unable to get into safe mode.. So I decided to Download Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper and boot using it.. is that possible ?? or do I have to login to windows anyway.?

Which is why I said to boot the MS Standalone sweeper.
