I would not want GPT System myself, but I'm not sure you can turn it off. Maybe in BIOS?

Seems like it's an overreaction to frequent problems with users accidentally converting Basic to Dynamic disk when they try to create a fourth partition - ignoring the Disk Mgmt warning.

same error, my partitions cannot take windows due to efi systems using the MBC partition tables...

    what now nothing is working!

Did you convert the HD from MBR to GPT?

Run Diskpart "List Disk" to see if it says GPT.

You can also boot free Partition Wizard bootable CD, highlight the HD, then from Disk tab select Initialize to GPT, Apply.

i just found the part saying to type 'convert gpt' after doing so it says there is no disk selected to convert.
i have my "disc 0: unallocated space partition" selected but its still saying this.

Follow the tutorial to open Installer's Command Prompt. Type:

    DISKPART
LIST DISK (confirm from list HD is Disk 0)
    SELECT DISK 0
    CONVERT GPT
    EXIT

Close command prompt and try install.

list disk > disk 0 - online - 931gb (size of my hdd)
select disk 0 > disk 0 now selected
convert gpt > virtual disk service error:the specified disk is not convertable. cd/dvds are examples of disks that arent convertable
