Windows 7: HD turns into free space after shrink the volume

HD turns into free space after shrink the volume

Hello All,

I would like to split the previous F: partition of external HD (Disk 1) to other 300 mb partition ; however , after having shrunk F: and attain S: partition , the previous 4 existed logical drives turns in to free space and the data is lost as attach.

After trying to create new partition , there is error massage prompted up and still reappears after restart the computer.

However, after using EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition to create one partition , the further partitions could be created in diskmanagement as usual .

What could possibly be the cause of the problem and how to avoid such incident , please ?
