Windows 7: Installing windows 8 on an older computer.

Installing windows 8 on an older computer.

I'm trying to install windows 8 since my older computer passes the requirements, but i've ran into a problem finding a program to let me flash the iso image onto a usb drive. I cannot use DISKPART from the command prompt since windows XP does not recognize a usb drive as a disk, and I cannot use the program that microsoft has specifically provided for windows 7 as it will not run on my computer.

What i'd like to know is if there is anyway I can flash the iso image onto my usb drive and make it bootable so I can give windows 8 a try.

Thanks in advance

Edit: Sorry, didn't realize there was a windows 8 forum until after I posted this.
