    no boot.

i recently upgraded my computer from p4 to core i5, and because of that i had to purchase compatible motherboard (intel) and memory(ddr3 1333hzs). when tried booting my computer for the first time the comptuer was not booting.
it came up with error message that boot device not found. hecne i formated the c drive and tried reinstalling windows 7 but it comes up with error message that cannot find installation files on the dvd. tried with another windows 7 dvd but the same error appears.
    please help.

my hard drive is sata hard drive.
checked every connection. all are proper and correct.

Sometimes formatting the HD is not enough if there is corrupt code on the boot sector. Try wiping the HD: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation.

Next try resetting the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS to Optimal Defaults.

While in BIOS setup, set SATA controller to AHCI to try install. Unplug all other HD's and peripherals.

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the DVD yourself? Confirm ISO integrity or download another. Burn another DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed, or write to flash stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu - boot under USB, Removable or HD's using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

Report back results for each step given as there are more depending upon this.
