| | i want to install win7 on mac PowerPC G4 hello y`all am kinda new here so please excuse my presentation,i recently sourced a macPowerPC G4 ,im an ardent windows user and was wondering if there was any way i could install Windows 7 on it as a stand alone without virtual machines holding it.............  ) |

| | Given Windows 7 and older are x86 (Intel and AMD and compatibles) only, and a PowerMac G4 uses a Motorola PowerPC processor, the answer is you don't run Windows 7 on a G4 mac without using a virtual machine. Only Intel-based Macs can run Windows natively (and not all of them do it well, either). |
