win 7 install windows cant install on disk 0 partion 1 pls help

    win 7 install windows cant install on disk 0 partion 1 pls help


    so i want to reinstaal my win 7 and when i get to where to install it screen i click on c:drive and it says windows cant install on disk 0 pation 1 when i click ok it saysThe selected partition requires at least 6365 MB free space.
    i dont know what to do can some one help me i really need to reinstall windows.

    ive tryed the first one but it dont give me option to creat partion or anything. and the secound one is it ok to do that to your c drive? will my computer still work? im not to sure??

    You can not format the C: from Windows desktop.
    Take a look at step one.
    DISKPART : At PC Startup

    windows 7 install usb boots back from to the start of installation


    i finally sorted out the erro i got but know when i do installation it restarts and boots back to the start of the process again? can some one help bcause im doing it now and neeed help.. thanks

    Do not Press Any Key to Boot Flash Stick when prompted after that restart.

    If you do not get the prompt to Press Any Key because stick is autostarting then unplug flash stick at that restart.

    it doesnt give me an option to press any key it jjust goes in to the usb and when i take the usb out it gives me an erro
    bc i wiped my opertating sytem from there any other ideas??

    Hello Ricardo, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    This is do to having your USB listed before the HDD in BIOS. Whenever the computer restarts, it will boot from the USB instead of the HDD to finish installing Windows 7.

    Double check to make sure that you have your HDD listed before your USB flash drive in the BIOS boot priority settings.

    Afterwards, boot to your "Boot Menu" options screen instead of BIOS by pressing the F key it says is for this at boot. This way you can select to boot from the USB, and only have it boot from the USB this time and not after the computer restarts.
