SSD Installation problem.

Have installed SSD to Samsung R530 Laptop. All ok until I try to re-image backup onto SSD. What I have done is try to reinstall backup image to SSD and got an error that says
"""Re-image your computer.

The system image failed.

No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found. Details:"""

The Image I am using is a fresh new one, I have also tried an older image that I have used before and get the same error message above. Also I am able to Install a fresh copy onto the SSD and all works fine. But, I want the old image.

Can anyone help?

Did your old image come from the SSD, or was it made using a standard hard drive?

Basically I am finding that the image I am trying to put onto the C: is ok, what the problem is the Drive to put the image ''on'' cannot be found even though the Volume 1 C: is Formatted NTFS 100GB and Healthy. Volume 2 D: is NTFS 100mb and healthy..

Whats up?

Clean with Diskpart the target SSD: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Then follow these steps exactly to reimage: System Image Recovery

Note that the image must be stored on its original partition and not moved or renamed - if so move it back and/or change the name back to exactly WindowsImageBackup. If you had it stored on a partition on the same HD you'll have to recreate it exactly while slaved.

If you have Acronis True Image Home you can use its Tools to convert Windows image to .tib to gain flexibility which Windows 7 imaging doesn't have. Paragon Adaptive Restore will also reimage a Windows 7 backup image better than will Windows.

Or boot the Windows 7 DVD to get a Perfect Reinstall using the Product Key on COA sticker:
