Lost OS recovery disk of my HP Laptop. Is it ok to download an ISO?

My 5130M HP laptop needs a re installation and I cant find the OS recovery disk. The OS is Windows 7 professional 32bit. Is it legal to download an ISO and use it? If yes, where can I download one with the latest service pack?

    Thanks!

OS recovery disk may not be a win 7 dvd. it may just contain the files to "recover" the existing image on the recovery partition. Plus the OEM OS installed would need an OEM win 7 dvd to re-install. Your current key would not work on a retail version.

Yes you can borrow or download any Win7 retail installer for your version to clean reinstall with the Product Key on your COA sticker. The steps to get a perfect clean reinstall of Factory OEM are here: Reinstalling Windows 7

While this is a superior cleaner install than running Factory Recovery, you may also be able to run Recovery from its partition by following these steps: HP Backup and Recovery Manager

Then once you have recovered you can make your Recovery Disks, or another set if necessary: HP Recov DIsks - make another set
