| | Win7 Installation Issue I have built a new system. Specs Asus P8Z68-v LX Mobo i5 2400 8 gigs Corsair Vengence 1600 DDR3 memory ATI 6870 Vid card I removed the partion the formated my HD. Ran install it gets to asking for the serial number then it Blue Screens. I think there is something wrong with the memory but I am not sure. I have tried both sticks in every memory slot and still the same issue. What should I do next to trouble shoot? Thanks for the help!! |

| | Run MemTest if you think it is the memory. Runs at bootup. |

| | Have you checked the memory listing over at asus? That board does not seem to be memory friendly as in different brands. |

| | In the windows installation screen I went into the HD section and deleted the partition off the HD. I then partitioned the HD from there and formated the disk. That was an attempt to wipe off any data from the HD and yes that HD had Windows 7 installed on it. |
