BSOD pops up, every time I try install Win7(32/64) on nforce 630a mobo
Hi everyone,
First of all, my PC specs
EVGA GT430 1gb DDR3
4 gb RAM (2x 2gb)
ASUS M2N68-AM PLUS (NVIDIA Geforce 7025/nForce 630a)
500gb HDD Samsung (SATA)
AMD Athlon II 640 4x 3.1ghz
Windows XP 32-bit
BenQ DVD+-DL burner (SATA)
LG DVD ROM (IDE)
The problem is that when I try install Windows 7 or even Vista, While rebooting up after part installation, the BSOD shoots out, with a ACPI error and when I disable ACPI 2.0 it shows another BSOD.
I'm sure it's the BIOS of the mobo, because I've read lots of ASUS mobos with this problem.
But I also think it maybe the HDD; On other OS eg. XP, it shows 128gb available, so i have to use partition magic to recover the rest.
So if an of you could help with this problem it would be great.
I can install all other O.S. on this PC.
I've installed XP 32 and 64 bit, Ubuntu aswell.
And I've tried wiping the HDD completely with Dariks boot and nuke (dban) and then installing, still no luck.
If there is anything else you need just post here or email me, I will get back to you ASAP.
Thanks
