Format my Toshiba laptop without a Windows 7 disc?

How do I format my toshiba laptop legally without a Windows 7 disc?

My dealer refuses to format my computer without charging me a robbery of $60.

How would I go about doing this?

If you have a friend with their win 7 disc - as long as it is the same version . Use that then use your key ..

Easeus Partition Wizard is your best bet, but this will mean you lose everything you haven't backed up first.

Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD

Is there any particular reason why you want to format your laptop hard drive?

Do you have a Toshiba recovery disc or a recovery partition? If so, you can use either to format your drive and recover your system.

To many people "Format" means "reinstall Windows."

Try running Toshiba Factory Recovery after also trying to make your Toshiba Recovery disks as a backup: Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility

If this doesn't work, follow these steps to clean reinstall Win7 with the Product Key on your COA sticker: Reinstalling Windows 7

       Information
We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?
