| | Another version of this product is already installed I keep receiving this error when trying to install new versions of programs I currently have installed. I'm trying to up these programs: Windows 7 Codecs Media Here's a screenshot, any ideas or an update/workaround for this? Please help. |

| | Is this clearly an update to the program or a new version? If the latter have you tried uninstalling the Program first in Control Panel, then reboot to try installing the new version? BTW Are you a sound engineer or other specialist in this field because WMP has almost all codecs already. |

Both, but it always upgrades/updates itself during the install and never prompts me for a rebbot. No, and I need the codec pack to experiment with playback with different file types. |
