I have Windows XP disk from dead PC...

... in my new Windows 7 PC (virtual machine anyway). Can I copy programs, registry entries etc from XP to Windows 7? I can not boot into XP from the XP disk.
I no longer have the installation disks for the software I need (Photoshop CS2) as these were lost when I moved overseas.
Somehow need to copy the registry...?

    thanks

Why not contact the 'Photoshop' people?

With a little luck, maybe you registered the software...

    But then, ........
